Muttsbutts is the kit brand of MUTTS BUTTS LTD — registered in Stockport in late 2022. We grew from a small mail-order shop into a brand that tries to do one thing well: put the right gear in the hands of the people who love their dogs.
What we believe
Three rules we keep coming back to.
We test in living rooms.
Every kit goes through a season of real homes — rainy walks, foster puppies, restless seniors. If a piece breaks the rhythm, it doesn't ship.
Rule 01
No cartoon licences.
We don't sell branded character toys. Muted, neutral colours, mature shapes, materials we'd put on our own dogs.
Rule 02
Care over commerce.
If a dog needs the vet, we say so. If a kit isn't right for your dog, we say that too. The shop is a long game.
Rule 03
The short version
MUTTS BUTTS LTD was incorporated on 2022-12-02 as a mail-order retailer (SIC 47919). Through 2025 the team prototyped kits at home — first for friends, then for foster carers in the north-west, then for anyone who would write back with feedback.
Muttsbutts is the kit-led, direct-to-consumer side of the business. We focus on non-consumable dog gear — toys, walks, grooming, travel, beds, training, foul-weather wear. We do not sell pet food, treats, or veterinary products. Nutrition and health advice belongs with your vet.
